OBJECTIVES

  • Analyse the operation of an electronic system, using basic circuits with diodes, transistors or operational amplifiers
  • Perform functional check measurements using a diagram completed with oscillograms
  • Perform basic calculations of a filter transfer function using complex numbers and a bandwidth measurement

– Reverse and direct polarisation, equivalent circuit diagrams of a diode
– Various types of diodes and basic circuits
• Transistors:
– P-N-P junction, polarisation
– Continuous operation, application to regulation
– Operation in communication
• Amplification and amplifier circuits
• Operational amplifiers:
– Transistor differential amplifier
– Characteristics of operational amplifiers and basic circuits
• Filtering:
– Complex numbers and logarithms
– Study of passive filters with Bode plot
