“HONEYCOMB” SPECIFIC STRUCTURAL REPAIR

• Theory (4 hours)
– General information on honeycomb: (why? how? what type? where?)
• Practical work:
– Core drilling and replacement of a paper honeycomb (4 hours) (core drilling, cleaning, area preparation, bonding and densification, adjustment and restoration of profiles)
– Grinding of a sandwich structure part (8 hours (machining, edging))
– Replacement of a Nomex honeycomb (8 hours) (bonding, installation, adjustment)
