AEROCAMPUS Aquitaine is Part-147 approved [in accordance with the European regulations and the EASA] and can therefore provide training and tests for students in order to allow them to acquire the basic aeronautic knowledge.
Further to such training, any candidate with additional experience in aircraft maintenance may apply to obtain a Part 66 licence, i.e. a required qualification for the release to service of aeroplanes or helicopters [registered in Europe].
The licence categories listed below* define the areas of operation of mechanics:
B1-1: Turbine powered aeroplanes
B1-3: Turbine powered helicopters
B2: Avionics systems of aeroplanes and helicopters
* Training courses approved within the scope of AEROCAMPUS Aquitaine’s approval.
