- Be able to repair assemblies or subassemblies made of composite materials and used in aircraft airframes
SYLLABUS
- Reminder of composite materials and the main rules for design and layup of monolithic components
- Adhesive bonding and composite materials
- Maintenance and repair of structural composites
- Practice of several types of repairs: aesthetic repairs, structural repairs, “flush” repairs, “patch” repairs; specific training modules can be provided upon request (2‑day modules)
- Use of portable curing equipment
- Non-destructive testing after repair
